[NGHH'11 - Murdaa vs Ockeroid]

Murda's flow was awkward at times, especially in the first verse. I think everyone's underestimating Ockeroid because of his accent, but I'm liking his flow and content.
Rhymes could be better. Skit at the end was nice as well.

And it definitely sounds like a Dilla beat, but I can't help but hear some off tempo hits on your hi-hat type thing going on. Maybe lower it? Or just look at it? Or maybe I'm just going crazy... I love the sound either way, great sample.

hmm...I'm pretty sure I made everything on tempo. One thing I do with my hi-hats however is to have, volume-wise, one high and one low alternatively to emphasize the kick and the snare. It does give it a bit of "off beat" flavor, but I promise you it's not. It's just stylistic choice.

Steve got spanked... Self got some SWAGGGGGGGGGGGGGG. Great battle though, Steve held his own in the first verse, but that Stan line was immaculate.

Such good style with a lot of soul behind his shit. Qsik sounded a little weak without the lyrics to make up for it.
I think both of you could have done loads better.

I love this beat dude, the hook is mad nice too. The beginning second verse only bugs me because you rhyme a lot of similar words which is fairly simple to do. Quality is tight, all together a nice track man. Good luck in the competition

I agree, the rhyme scheme at the first 4 bars of the second verse are fairly simplistic. I do it that way on purpose sometimes because with a lot of my music I tend to be what they call "wordy". It's a pain to have to revert to a more simplistic rhyme scheme now and then, but it helps me to not use every word in the dictionary lol. Appreciate the review fam, and good luck in the competition as well.

This shit is so tight. I didn't know what to expect with such an eerie and strange intro, but the vocal sample and those bells are immaculate. I like the drum beat as well, not too complex as to not over shadow all the samples you have going. The clap every 2 beats is nice and consistent to ensure easy vocal recording. I love it man. One of your bests.
